2022 Tournament

The 2022 WCCHA Tournament will take place Feb. 11-13, 2022 at the National Sports Center's Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota.

The winner of this season's league tournament will be crowned the 2022 WCCHA Champion and take home the Carla Berg Cup. In addition, this year's WCCHA Champion will earn the league autobid to the ACHA DII Central Regional Tournament (if not otherwise qualified via rankings).

The regular season standings will be used to determine qualification and seeding for the tournament. The top three teams from each division will automatically qualify, with the final two spots going to the highest 2 teams in the KRACH rankings not otherwise qualified. This will provide balance to the tournament field should one Division be particularly strong in a given season.

The 8 qualified teams will take part in a full-bracketed tournament, with quarterfinals played Friday, semifinals/consolations on Saturday, and the Championship round on Sunday.

For tournament purposes, an 8 minute, 3-on-3 sudden death overtime will follow in the championship bracket only. For consolation/3rd place and for ties in the championship round after the second overtime, best of 3 shootout will take place to determine who will move on in the bracket, or in the championship game, the Carla Berg Cup Winner.
