Six WCCHA Players Named to 22-23 ACHA M2 Central All-Region Teams

The ACHA announced the 2022-2023 ACHA Men’s Division 2 Central All-Region Teams today, with six WCCHA players earning honors this year. Leading the way are St. Thomas and Minnesota, with two players each, while Wisconsin and Minnesota-Crookston each have one player recognized.

Three WCCHA players earned first team honors – Forward Josh Hermes and Goalie Samuel Haupfear from St. Thomas, and Defenseman Ian Barbour from Wisconsin. By placing on the 1st team, all three are eligible to be named to the National All-Athletic teams and claim an National individual award.

Placing on the second team is Matthew Bryant, goaltender from Minnesota. Bryant’s teammate, defenseman Michael Scherer, and Minnesota-Crookston’s Logan Syrup each earned 3rd team honors.
