It’s been a battle all season – but with the final regular season league games of the 2024-2025 season now completed, congratulations to the 8 teams that have qualified for the 2025 WCCHA Tournament:
#1 – Wisconsin
#2 – Minnesota
#3 – St. Thomas
#4 – UMN-Crookston
#5 – UW-Eau Claire
#6 – Jamestown
#7 – MSU-Mankato
#8 – Bethel
The Wisconsin Badgers earned the top overall seed with a blistering regular season that included a perfect Southeast Division record of 10-0 and strong interdivisional play. Nipping at their heels in the #2 spot are the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, who themselves finished perfect in the Northwest Division at 12-0. In third place are the two-time defending league champions University of St. Thomas Tommies, while the University of Minnesota-Crookston Golden Eagles round out the higher seeds in the bracket.
At #5 and #6 respectively, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds and University of Jamestown Jimmies held firm in the KRACH while automatically qualifying via division finish (each at 3rd). The final two teams to qualify by wildcard are #7 Minnesota State University Mavericks and #8 Bethel University Royals, the latter of which benefited from their strong interdivisional play to jump a spot into the tournament despite finishing in 5th place in the Northwest.
